Ryder Cup 2031
One of this year’s biggest golf announcements: the Ryder Cup 2031 will be played at the prestigious Camiral golf resort. This event will once again place the Costa Brava at the centre of the sporting world.
One of the most important sports events in the world, the Ryder Cup is a biennial tournament that challenges Europe’s and the United States’ best players in a unique format. It will be only the second time Spain hosts this historic tournament following the 1997 edition at Valderrama.
Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship (DP World Tour)
As part of the DP World Tour, this championship will become a key date in the international golf calendar starting in 2026. Running for five years, its 2028, 2029 and 2030 editions will take place at Camiral, bringing together elite golfers from across the globe.
Mas de Torrent Golf Tournament

The Santander Golf Tour is part of the women’s golf circuit, and the Costa Brava has hosted it on several occasions. Golf Perelada welcomed the tournament in 2022 and 2023, while Empordà Golf did so in 2024 and 2025. A key event for elite female golfers from all over the world.
Catprotour
One of Catalonia’s most important tournaments, promoted by the Catalan Golf Federation. This high-level competition will conclude in 2025 at Empordà Golf on 15 and 16 December.
